The Tale of the Taisho's

Throughout history a name had been whispered in both fear and respect, it ruled with an iron fist and kept the peace within the realms for centuries. It was said to have been blessed by the gods themselves, offering their protection but none loved them more than the moon herself...who created the first...the name of Tenzen Taisho. Like all stories it was claimed that Tenzen was a mighty warrior who's very voice could shake mountains and crack the earth, the wind guided him in everything he did aiding him in his battles and sticky situations. Many even claimed that Tenzen was more beast than man, saying that it was unnatural with some of the things he could do and happened around him....though that was very much the truth. You see Tenzen was what one called a Daiyoukai...a great and powerful demon that was truly created by the moon goddess Luna as her faithful guardian and he looked over her territory with honor and pride. Though of course Tenzen was not the only youkai in existence there where of course others, the lands where full with them of all varing shapes, sizes and types.

Tenzen Taisho was an Inu Daiyoukai or a Lord Dog Demon, with Luna as his goddess with not only her blessing but the gift of being able to use the wind as he desired. The land he protected was within the West, giving rise to the statment 'western winds' meaning that the winds where strongest in the west, as the decades went on with him ruling he grew more or less lonely and beseached his goddess in helping him find a mate. She did as he asked as a favor for protecting her lands and gave him a beautiful wife, within a few months she gave him what he desired.....a family. As time went on Tenzen watched his children grow and soon become powerful daiyoukai of their own, his eldest Toga Taisho was his heir and would take over the Western Lands while his second oldest Renzin would take possession over a set of islands off the coast of the western lands which gave them a strong navel force. With the two brothers working together they grew the western lands that much bigger than with Tenzen original had it though in turn....the brothers two desired to have their own families.

Again Luna would bless the brothers their own mates, to Toga the Lady Inukimi a powerful demoness that ruled over the skies and to Renzin...Sakura a demoness of the ocean commanding the sea's as she desired. The west was growing and the Clan of Inu's now known as the Taiso's was growing that much more as Inukimi after a few years blessed Toga with not one...but two children...a set of twins. A male and female, both with their mother's markings and a elegant creasent moon upon their brows, a blessing from Luna herself to the twins, the male strong and powerful even as a newborn was given the name of Sesshomaru the future Heir and Lord of the West as was his birth right as first born....the female was given the name of Tsukiko, which her father would affectionately call her Kiko as she grew older. The twins where a welcome sight to the ever growing Taisho family and of course Renzin followed suit two years later with his own child, a daughter that they would name Sayuri. Time's where good in the western lands, though wars broke out between humans and sometimes demons the Taisho's where their to settle them but other wise allowed the less lords and nobles do as they desired so long as they didn't press their luck to much and tamper with the order of the other lands.

Several years would go by and now Sesshomaru and his twin sister Tsukiko where adults though still quiet young compared to other demons. Tsukiko would walk down the halls of her father's palace her silver hair flowing around her in a pair of twin pigtails, her bangs framing her face some but parted in the middle to reveal the crescent moon on her brow, elegant red markings over her golden eyes with a set of stripes on either side of her cheeks. As she walked, she would soon turn her head hearing the sound of a sword moving through the air, faint grunts and heavy heaves coming from the court yard. SHe couldn't help but smile faintly as she would soon turn heading towards the court yard only to see a white blur moving through a rather intricate training course, demon guards standing ready for their turn before they would move attacking the white figure. When the figure finally stood still long enough a spitting image Tsukiko stood there, though where she wore her hair up the figure before her....wore their's down. Before her stood her twin and elder brother Sesshomaru, she couldn't help but raise both hands clapping faintly "bravo...though does it really matter....these demons are no match for your skill....or are you just pissed off father went off to play with his...humans?"

It was no mystery that after her and her brother got to a certain age their father's kindness towards humans became apparent, they knew her father was rather soft on humans to begin with. Allowing them to build their villages a bit closer to the palace till even soon a small city had popped up just outside of it, their own mother had more or less retreated to her castle in the sky not exactly caring for her husbands extrinsic taste's but would not argue with him considering humans did help make the lands more prosperous, though she did return to the main house often after all she was still lady of the west as well as the sky. Tsukiko tilted her head some with a smirk, "I heard an interesting rumor....I heard father has a human lover. To think we could have a little sister or brother....I wonder what a hanyou of our clan would look like....they look so interesting in other races..."

Sesshoumaru turned with a sharp snap of his wrist as his poison whip darted out quickly bouncing off the ground and striking another demon as his eyes faced his sister out of the corner "It wouldnt be as bad if he would just leave his swords for me.to train with, then he can screw whatever foolish human would have him" he stated as his waved his arm as his whip cleaved through another demon "Those rumors are true. I've seen the woman before. She's the princess of a village not too far away from here. Isuppose she is pretty by a human standard...but that isn't much of one"he commented coldly "To think our noble blood could be sullied by something so weak...at least another daiyoukai race like a cat or a fox would be acceptable over a lowly human"he told her "Have you not tried talking any sense into him? You know he listens to you since he tends to baby you frequently"he teased

”I think he spoils you both fairly often.” came their mothers voice as she stepped into the training area. ”as for your father.....he is too selfish and stubborn to be convinced put of courting his human..” she said somewhat bitterly

Tsukiko would hold back a laugh when he claimed that their father spoiled her more, though hearing their mothers voice she turned her head. “Welcome Home mother, didn’t expect you to return from the palace in the sky.” She said off handily though back to the matter at hand she shrugged “fathers choices in company have always been odd...take the old sword smith and the rather creepy flea demon he has around....though speaking of that Sesshomaru if you want a sword so bad I’ll gladdly knock a fang or two out of your mouth to give to Tottosi”

Kiko smirked as she looked to her mother “you seem oddly colder today mother, I thought you liked the princess in the human village.”

Sesshoumaru glared at his sister's idle threat but hels back his comments as he faced his mother "I thought you didn't care who he decided to bed? It didnt seem to be an issue whenever he was going into his heats while you were floating around your castle"he stated "Out of all the women though why a human, what does he see in her? She's so....fragile looking"

”lets say I like her more if she would find her own husband.” she said. ”and as for your father finding other partners, you’re right. I don't care whom he beds.....if they are demin and bring something to the table.” she said as she opened her fan and began fanning herself. ”besides all that, your father knows where to find me and unlike him, some of us have responsibilities.”

"Father rather enjoys the....Protector role, he is the Lord over these lands..every life he cares for human or demon" she said simply as she would push one of her pony tails from her shoulder in doing so her fur gently fell further down her arm as she sighed. Kiko then looked over to her mother, "I've only met her a couple of times, she seems rather kind and holds herself with high standards much like you do mother." Kiko much like her father didn't see humans as fragile creatures, they had their own strengths which made her intriged with them but she never once found a human attractive enough to bed them. Though the three of them didn't seem to understand Toga's actions Kiko would soon turn, "I'm going to go pay a visit...the human village is always...interesting to watch"

Tsukiko walked down the hall from them, humming softly once she rounded another corridor a gust of wind rushed down the hall and her form could be seen flying out towards the human village. Her gold eyes shimmered some with curiosity as she soon found herself descending down upon the village as she did several humans yelled in surprise as she landed, though she didn't pay them much mind for as soon as her feet hit the ground she was already moving heading towards the main house, the guards hesitant towards her and unsure if they should stop her but the feeling of her own aura made them back down quickly as she entered the house the servants gasping and stepping back out of her way as one gently motioned towards a door though it wasn't needed as she could smell her father and soon she was opening a door quickly. Seeing her father sitting there with a young human women at his side pouring him saki, "really father...drinking this early? You've already upset Sesshomaru by leaving without training him with your swords"

Sesshoumaru shook his head as his sister left qnd turned to his mother once again "She says that same aloofness when it comes to practical matters just like father" he sighed "Why are you here though? I didnt expect to see you anytime recently after your last visit and how that went"he commented

"Oh Sesshoumaru is old enough that a little practice time alone isn't going to hurt him" Toga said smiling "I'm surprised you made your way down here. I figured you would have taken the same approach as those other two and left me to my own ways" he said motioning for her to sit down "I dont know why they are so withdrawn, I promise Izayoi doesn't bite. By theway I'm the one drinking sake, she's having tea"

”Oh! Tsukiko! I'm so glad to see you again.” Izaiyoi said and bowed to her best she could in her seated position. ”it’s been quite some time. I don't think I've seen you since you were small.” she said

”i came back to confirm some.....news, I've heard about your father and Izaiyoi.” she said, the fan pausing for a moment before continuing. ”anyway. Does a mother need an excuse to see her children?”

Tsukiko would raise a brow slightly, "You sure that tea isn't spiked m'lady? When I was small this village did not exist" she said cooly though she did hear a faint growl from her father, which of course she ignored, like the perfect daughter she was. As he held up the cup of saki she reached over picking up a cup and taking a drink, it was almost nothing and she shook her head "Father...You can't expect to get drunk on something like this...." she soon smirked as she reached into her sleeve and pulled out a gord "How about some from grandfather?"

"When it comes to you? Yes" Sesshoumaru said simply as he eyeballed her "You usually ever come here when you want something, you don't just drop in for a fun visit"he said as he dusted off his sleeves "Especially to come all the way out to the training courtyard. I never see you all the way here. What are you really doing?"he questioned

"No no"Toga said shaking his head "There is a reason I'm drinking lightly, still have things to do. That old man's liquor can put you out for days."he said "There's been an issue with some of the nearby wolf clans and their raids on the villagers wagons so I'm going to go and have a word with our cousins and see if I can get this whole mess sorted out. Would you care to join me young one?"he asked "It's been forever since I've taken you with me on official business. It's always stale old Sesshoumaru now that he's of age."he mumbled resting his head on his chin "That boy is always so serious."

”still, you grown some since I last saw you.......i know a human year is nothing to a demons but.....im still happy to see you.” she said and smiled brightly at her.

”my reason are my own. Just know they are always in your better interest wether you want it or believe me or not.”

“As it is a pleasure to see you as well, even if your my fathers latest conquest.” Though she would put it faintly and wasn’t trying to be cold, sometimes she would sound to much like her mother and brother. But she would let that topic drop when the issues of wolves came up, her eye brow raised some, “really? My my you must be drunk if your inviting me along, but it does beat sitting around and doing nothing, as for Sesshomaru being serious I have to ask again for like the 20th million time....did you sit on his head as a pup and smother his brain that he acts that way....even as a pup he was seruous!!!”
