Magic Mayhem

Quan-Li sweatdropped as he finally landed and headed back inside with her and Cali and Kenji

"Well...first we can check and make sure old Olly is all moved into the guild. Then you and I should go out to the markets. I haven't gone in weeks and there is some stuff I wanna check out"Akihiko said as he laced his fingers behind his head before grinning looking over at her slyly "Or we could go back to what someone was starting thing morning before breakfast"

Lays face suddenly turned three different shades of pink. "I...I...I have no idea what your talking about." She stammers and looked away. "Ooh! She's blushing-chi!" Chichi said with a giggle while pointing a small paw at Layla. "Chichi shut up!" Layla said with a groan of embarrassment.

Akihiko grinned his hands still folded behind his head as he headed back inside to see the others "Well, when you do figure out what I'm talking about, don't be afraid to do it again"he said calmly as he glanced over at her for a moment before going into the guild as everyone was straightening up after breakfast and their training though Kenji and the other S-Class wizards were in a private conference upstairs

"I have reason to believe that at least one of the men behind these terrorist attacks is a member of the 10 Wizard Saints. The title represents a testament to power, not an alignment with good or bad."Kenji said "I know we are missing a few other of our top wizards, but I wanted you all to hear my thoughts on this"he said

"And what makes you think he's a Wizard Saint?"Iroh asked, though surprisingly it didn't sound mocking or condesending in the slightest as Kenji nodded at him pulling out a small jar with a burning black flame inside "I managed to seal a small portion of the fire he was using in his fight against Layla to study it later. This black flame are an unusually high level black magic spell that no regular fire wizard could wield easily. That suggests to me that only someone with a caliber to be a Wizard Saint has the ability to either wield fire magic or black magic at an alarmingly high level"he stated "I have already informed Master Makarov and Master Jura of my findings. They are the only two wizard saints I know personally enough to know that they are not the culprits, considering Makarov was with me when the guildmasters were attacked and I had to save Jura and the magic council from that explosion as well. They will be on high alert proceeding forward as should we all"

"What about the magic council? Have they been alerted to what's going on?"Calista asked. "I'm sure they have heard of what's going on." Sonia added.

Layla blushed a deep red again before taking a deep breath and following him inside. They found the guild library where Olivwr was working on his books. "Oh hello you two. I'm sorry your training didn't go well....that Iroh fellow seems like a mean customer." He said as Layla walked over to him. "Yeah he's pretty tough. How are you settling in?"
"Well actually. Calista says that I can stay here and work here in the library and on the books as a way to help the guild. Even help with what work orders come in and out."
"That's great-chi!" Chichi said as she landed on the table. "Oh princess here..." Oliver said as he held out one of the books from the kingdom. "This is a history of your father at your age and to his corination and reign and meeting and marrying your mother." He said and smiled softly at her as she took it. "Oh...thank you Oliver." She said and held the book. "Anyway...we wanted to check on you befor we headed out. Would you like us to pick up anything for you?"
"No I'm fine. But thank you."

"Since there building was attacked, they are well aware of our current situation yet they haven't acted. That leads me to believe that there may be more trouble to the Council going on right now that we are not aware of as non-members. They did also lose over 80% of the Rune Knights in that explosion so what help the magic council is limited to none. We should view this as the guilds are independent in our defense and investigation into these matters"Kenji explained to the group

Akihiko bit the inside of his cheek slightly hearing the gift Oliver gave to Layla making him think about his own parents again as he shook his head slightly "You know I wanted to ask what exactly we were going to do today now anyway? There is so much stuff going on I don't know which way to go"he said laughing

"Good idea. What would you like us to do Kenji?" Asked one of the S-Class wizards at the meeting.

"Well....we haven't been on a job together since this whole thing started.....how about we pick a quick one?" She asked as she tucked the book away, reading the discomfort it left on Akis face.

"First and foremost I want you all to make sure the other guild members remain calm throughout all of this. I'm going to divide you up into teams and you all will rotate between standing guard here, and going out on certain patrol and reconnaissance missions I will send you on as an investigative unit as we look further into our enemies. I have also contacted Dr. Mitsugaya in the laboratory connected to the guild. I'm sure he'll have some magical inventions created in no time in order to help us along."Kenji said with a smile "Thank you all for being so available, I know many of you were out doing jobs prior to this. I also want you to know that you are protected by your guild's crest, no harm can befall you while on the guild grounds, and when traveling if you are ever in danger there is protective magic that will aid you. Also it grants me the ability to teleport to your location in a crisis."he said "So if you do find yourself in trouble do not be afraid to call"

"Hmmmm that's a good idea...I'm a little short on some dough anyway"Akihiko said as Nekka landed on top of his head as his hands folded behind her head as he walked over to the bulletin board with the job flyers posted all over it "Hmmmmmmmm.....I kinda wanna zap some stuff...so let's do a monster hunting job."

"Alright. That sounds fun." She said and smiled as she looked through the fliers. "There's a monster citing and damage in Balsam Village. You know that Place that's basically one large resort and spa?"
"Ooh a spa-chi! Maybe they'll give us a free night there-chi." Chichi said excitedly. "And some free food-chi!"
"I don't know about that Chichi. But it says here in the work order it will pay 100,000 jewels or more. Apparently this beast has caused a lot of damage to the west side of the village."

"OH man that's the place with the huge waterslide!"Akihiko said before suddenly pausing "Did you say 100,000 jewels!? No way! That's enough money to feed me for like two weeks! We are totally taking that job!"He said ripping the flyer off the wall for themselves "Let's go kick some monster ass!"he said happily "Oh...we should probably tell Cali where we are going. New rules and everything."

"Yeah." She said and they made their way to the front. The meeting was over and Cali was making her way to the bar. "Hey Cali."

"Hey you two, what's up?" She asked
"We were letting you know we were gonna take a job. A monster or something is wrecking up part of Balsam Village and we thought it would be good for us to get out for a bit." Layla explained with a smile

"So it's cool if we go right? Balsam isn't too far away from here, we would probably be back in a day or two and we will keep in contact"Akihiko said smiling at her 'Plus the reward is 100,000 jewels!"he said excitedly

"You'll have to take an S-Class mage with you"Kenji said as he came down the stairs "I know you're an excellent bodyguard Akihiko, but this rule applies to everyone and you are no exception...in fact in Layla's case I'm almost tempted to put two wizards with you"he said tapping his chin

"Well how about you guys?" Layla asked. "We haven't been on a family mission in a while....and if like to hang out with you guys more." She said and looked down at her hands resting on the bar. "I can tell this whole parents thing is bothering all of you...but I just want you two to know that no matter what, I still love you guys. Your my parents...." She said and looked up to Kenji.

Kenji smiled as he put his hand on her shoulder "I don't think it bothers any of us. We just aren't too sure how to approach such a touchy subject, but it is good to hear that you are still with us, you both will forever be my children, real parents or not"he said with his usual warm smile then looked over at Cali "Well one of us should stay here at the guild and take care of things..."he said though suddenly felt a looming presence behind him as Iroh stood with his arms crossed "So these two are your children hm? My adopted, dragon slaying niece and nephew? Well, if you need someone to watch over the guild, I can do it, or I can escort the brats with whoever decides to not stay behind, not doing anything else better around here"he said off handedly cleaning his ear with a bored yawn

Akihiko rolled his eyes and crossed his arms "You just want to go to the resort and relax while we do all the work don't you, I saw you eyeing that job when you first got here!"Aki snapped at him as Iroh smirked cooly "A man's gotta have his priorities in order" as Aki sucked his gums, crossing his arms and turning his head "Whatever, it's up to Layla then."

Layla looked up at Itoh with a passing glare. "Fine. You can come." She said and looked to Calista and Kenji. "Thank you for the offer you two but we should stay here. You two go and have fun. Please be careful." She said and leaned across the bar and kissed their foreheads.
"Ok....we'll see you in a few days." She said as chichi waved goodbye. "Bye bye-chi."

Akihiko blushed but put up his hand in a wave as he headed out of the front door of the guild as Kenji turned to face his brother "Iroh..."Kenji started as Iroh shook his head putting up his hand "Yeah yeah, I'll make sure nothing happens to them. I'd never hear the end of it from you all if I did anyway"he said "I'm just going to relax at the spa and let the kiddies have their fun, same thing you would do Kenny"he said to his brother as Kenji let out a sigh and smiled "Have fun, and try to get to know them, they aren't bad children at all."he commented as Iroh waved his hand dismissively as he walked out behind them as he reached into his cloak pulling out a silver whistle and giving one sharp blow on it as Akihiko looked over confused "The hell was that?"he asked

"Just wait for it..."Iroh said for a moment as he put the whistle back as soon from high in the skies a loud screech could be heard as a griffon appeared flying down and landing beside Iroh though it was larger than the three of them combined as the man leapt up into the large saddle taking the reins "Well...what are you two waiting for...girl first and boy you sit behind her so she doesn't fall off the tail."

Layla climed on hesitantly and tucked Chichi safely in front of her. She blushed a bit when Akihiko climbed in behind her. "Layla your cheeks are all red-chi." Chichi said and pointed up at her face.
"No...no there not." She said and tried to hide her red cheeks as they only got redder and redder.

"Oh hey now she looks like a juicy apple! She looks like she's gonna explode! Pop pop juicy apple!"Nekka joined in with Chi-Chi on her teasing as Akihiko absentmindedly wrapped his arms around her waist for support as Iroh jerked the reigns and the griffon flapped its massive wings before taking off into the skies

"Have you brats ever traveled by griffon before?"Iroh asked "Our Grandfather Old Iron Iroh used to tame them and when I was 5 he gave me a griffin egg before he passed away"he said "This is Lulu. She's a sweet girl, as long as you stay on her good side"he said as Lulu screeched happily flapping her wings

"No....whatever flying we do is usually what Nekka and Chichi can do." Layla said and ignored the cats teasing though her fce was still red from embarrassment. At feeling his arms around her, her blush deepened and was competing with her hair.

"Usually we travel by foot....most modes of transportation make us and all other dragon slayers motion sick....not sure why."

"That's.....an unfortunate weakness...."Iroh said blinking "But it seems that you two do well riding on natural animals though which is a relief. I couldn't afford you two getting sick on me now"he said as they flew on

Akihiko couldn't help but notice how perfectly Layla's body fit against hers and her soft her butt was pressed up against his groin as they flew as he tried not to think about it though his hands rested on her hips though he couldn't see how red her face was

"Yeah we don't think of animals as transport which I think helps..." She said. She held onto Irohs cape as support but she felt fine on the Griffin. She felt the warmth and strength of Akis hands and arms in her. Holding her against him. The feel on his chest against her back. How she was practically sitting in his lap. Sje took a deep breath to steady her beating heart.
"Uh..are...are you okay back there Akihiko?"

"Mmm"Iroh said as he faced ahead focused on flying as he began humming a tune that sounded very very old. The same tune Kenji was usually heard whistling as he walked around the guild tending to his day to day tasks. Or when he was cooking or cleaning at home.

Aki jumped slightly when she said something to him as he blushed a deep red as he was now aware of his boner pressing up against her "I...uh....thought I was but I guess not...Sorry I uh...don't exactly know what to do about this"he said softly in her ear

"It's....it's okay..." She said and turned away to hide her face. "Just...try thinking of something else...." She suggested. "It..it might help with....that." She said and tried to four her own thoughts on something else aswell. But feeling his shaft against her and how it would feel in her hands...her mouth....inside of her....was all that she could think of. She took another deep breath and focus on something else. "What...what is that tune? Master Kenji whistles or hums that same thing..."

Akihiko blushed a deeper red, he had been trying to think of something different since he hopped on behind her, but with the beating of the griffin and the motion of the beast constantly pushing him up against her it was harder than ever to not stay hard. So instead, Aki decided to be evil,as he let one of his slightly clawed fingers slid underneath her shirt resting against the skin on her hips and stomach now "I'm trying to not think"he whispered

"This tune?"Iroh said though he didn't look back at them "It's an old Yamamoto hymn that our Father used to sing all the time...and our Grandfather too. Supposedly it's a song to soothe celestial spirits or something along those lines. It's just really catchy"

"Oh....interesting." Layla said and gasped softly as she felt his fingers on her skin. His sinful words and warm breath in her made her shudder for a moment as she was pulled closer to him.
She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do next. She didn't want to stop Aki but she also didn't want to draw attention to them from Iroh.
"What...are you doing Aki?" She asked in a whisper that his dragon enhanced hearing could hear."

"It's helping me not think about it, my fingers are just kinda moving on their own"Aki said back to her as he pulled her back fully against him as his fingers slide up her stomach before sliding back down to her sides as he decided to test the waters as he kissed the side of her neck "I owe you one for this morning remember"

Iroh shrugged his indifference as he continued flying as soon the countryside had turned green and lush as the large village resort loomed ahead of them "We're almost there"he called back over his shoulder as they started to slowly descend
