Magic Mayhem

Kenji kissed her back as he soon found himself inside of her again as the two continued to go round for round making love with each other for most of the night before finally passing out in each others arms thoroughly spent

Meanwhile back at the resort, the darkness had finally begun to reach the side of the country they were on as Akihiko yawned "Well the monster has been pretty quiet, maybe since he just ate he wasn't too hungry, maybe we should go to bed and try again tomorrow?"Aki suggested

"Yeah I think your right." She said and yawned and stood to stretch. "I'll set up a few snares to, just in case that way it won't get too far hopefully." She said and hopped out of tree where she had been hiding

"Good idea. We can just check in with Iroh in the morni-- what was that?"Aki asked as he paused as his eyes looked around "It sounded like someone was chanting something...maybe I'm just imagining stuff..."he said still looking around

"Chanting?" She asked and stopped to listen. "I don't hear anything."she said and went about setting the snares

"Yeah maybe I'm just imagining things again"Akihiko said with a laugh *But I swear I heard something...* he thought to himself as he shook his head "Let's just get some rest then before I really think I'm losing my mind"he laughed

""Okay. Let's head back." She said and turned back to him. As she turned to face with a smile, a spell suddenly came out of no where, hitting Layla and sent her hurtling into to the trees by the impact. When the dust settled, Akihiko would find himself in the center of a circle of the men in robes

Akihiko glared as he balled up his fists looking around as Layla was knocked away as he glared looking at the man 'I thought I heard something stupid around me"he said "You all have been following us. Why else would you be here?"

"You are insignificant to our plans. But your guild has be warned and have been harboring the girl. Your guild will be made an example of in our new world order." Said a male voice, coming from the one in the embellished hood. "But you will deliver a message to your master." He said and shot forward so fast Alihiko could even be link before the man had him by the throat and slammed him into the dirt.

Akihiko gasped in shock as he grabbed at the man's wrist around his throat his eyes wide, aglow with a mixture of shock and terror *I couldn't even track his movements*he thought to himself as he felt the air leaving his chest and lungs "You aren't going to stop Master Kenji!"he choked out "Raven's Nest is going to shit on you."he said before pausing again sensing a strong pressure suddenly push down around them as he tilted his head back looking towards the resort

Walking towards the group, shirtless with just a haori thrown around his shoulders with the Yamamoto clan symbol for metal on the back and his hair a mess and reeking of booze obviously suddenly taken away from his prior engagements as he easily parted the circle to stand in the center "If you think I'm gonna stop you from choking the brats, by all means be my guest" he said as Akihiko gagged flailing his arms at him as Iroh let a cigarette from his pocket "But you hit the girl with a spell and knocked her out, and if she's hurt my brother is going to be up my ass, and that's worse than anything you losers can do, so give me your little message and get out of here before I lose my temper and things get really ugly for you"

The man holding Akihiko down stood straight back up, picking up Alihiko as he went and chucked him to lay at Irohs feet. "The girl is out of the question. She is ours now and you will not interfere I. Her capture. Tell your master Kenji that we are coming. The guild will be the first to fall

"That's what I thought you said...and I wish you hadn't have said that"Iroh said as the ground began to shake around them before a large steel dome suddenly rose up from the ground around them trapping them all inside of it "Because see now...no one leaves here but me and the girl.....and maybe the boy if he's lucky"he said as Akihiko flipped him off as he gripped his throat panting as Iroh cracked his neck and knuckles "So is it time for peaceful negotiations or forceful diplomacy, I'll let you take your pick"

The leader stood and stared at Iroh with an uninterested look on his face. He simple snapped his fingers and sent his men at the two in the center of the dome. He turned to the side of the dome directly behind him while his man keep Akihiko and Iroh at bay and placed his hand on the dome wall. His hand began to vibrate against it quickly and in quick burst of gradual increased speeds, his hand suddenly became a blur against the heating metal. The wall began to glow red...then orang...yellow and finally white before warping and melting away completely and he stepped through the whole he made.

Iroh growled out in anger as he took on the men rushing towards him as steel beams and iron rods flew from all directions out of the grounds at the men though from the corner of his eye he could see the man attempting to escape as he reached down grabbing Akihiko and chucking him threw the air as hard as he could as he landed outside through the hole as he quickly regained his composure while Iroh continued fighting inside his dome

"You are taking Layla anywhere"Akihiko said as lightning pulsed around his body as he glared at the man "I'm sick of you guys trying to mess with her all the time"he said as the clouds above began to darken around the area as thunder crackled and lightning flashed in the upper regions of the gathering clouds

The man stopped and looked over his shoulder at Akihiko and narrowed his eyes, "what a pest.." He gripped the cloak and threw it off to the side revealing a young man with striking white hair, lean physique that was slightly muscled and dark dangerous eyes.
"Such an annoyance." He suddenly shot forward again in a blink of an eye and connected his fist into Akihikos gut and forced him back.


In the trees off in the distance Layla came to. She groaned as she started to sit up and held her arm against her as she looked around her to get a bearing. She turned at the sound of of thunder and saw a gathering of dark clouds. "Aki..." She stood and stumbled into a run in the direction of the fight.

Aki blinked in shock though this time he took the punch much better as he slid back but remained standing "You have white hair like mine! No one else has white hair like this!"he shouted out as sparks crackled around him again as he vanished in a flash suddenly appearing in front of the man this time with equally surprising speed as he then sent a huge uppercut into the man's chin "Who are you!?"he demanded again in his fury as the roar of the thunder began to intensify with Aki's anger as lightning crashed down on a tree not too far from them causing a fire to erupt

Iroh just knocked out the last of the men in cloaks and robes as his dome barrier then fell as he saw the dark clouds and the lightning set the forest ablaze "This must be what Kenji warned me about..."he said as he remembered an earlier conversation with his brother:

Kenji: Iroh, you have to be careful when dealing with dragon slayers, the more hurt or enraged they get the stronger their magic. Both of them have trigger warnings if you will. The angrier or hurt Layla becomes, the ground begins to fissure and split apart before an earthquake happens and stalagmites start firing up at random from the ground as she loses control of her powers...or well the full extent of her powers are brought out. For Akihiko, storm clouds start to gather overhead and lightning begins striking various places in the vicinity at random and uncontrolled.

Iroh (picking his ears): Mmmhmm yep got it Kenny, later

"Maybe I should have paid a bit more attention when he was talking..."Iroh said before looking over seeing Layla coming out of the thicket lining of the forest as he headed over to her "You feeling okay brat?"he asked concerned and also stopping her from getting too close to Aki as he motioned towards the growing forest fire "Careful, they are after you, I'll get him when the time is right. Kenji warned me about this...sort of."

"Didn't listen did you?" She asked and sighed. "Other then a splitting headache? Yeah I'm fine..." She said as she witnessed the man jump back and crouch down and ran at Kenji. He grabbed onto him and with great force, slammed him to the ground, causing a small creator to form. "Not that you will live to remember, I am Hisako." He said as he stood beside the creator. He looked over at Iroh and laylas a with his eerie calmness and stoic face he fully turned to face them. "You will come with me." He said and suddenly appeared infront of them.
"Don't think so." She slammed her foot into the ground and a rock puller shot out of the ground beneath his feet and sent him flying into the air.
"Aki!" Layla called after Hisako was sent flying and ran into the creator to check on him

As he was sent into the air Iroh put his hands together before making a fist and swinging it as a large metal fist erupted from the ground beneath him hitting Hisako and sending him flying off into the forest fire before putting up another large dome around the fire to contain it, choking it of oxygen and quelling the flames

Akihiko lay on the ground as the clouds above began to disperse and scatter as the sunlight returned as he was clearly unresponsive, his eyes rolled back and his jaw open with a trail of blood trickling from his lips "Well at least he isn't dead yet"Iroh said "But we need to do something for him quickly, are you strong enough to lift him?"he asked taking out his whistle and summoning Lulu his griffin once more

"Yeah I got him." She said as she lifted him up as best she could. Nekka and chichi helped aswell.
"Is there a doctor or someone near by that we can take him to?" She asked lookin at Akihiko and gently tried to keep him up as best she could. "Akihiko? Can you hear me? Come on open your eyes" sje said trying to get him to speak to her

"In this region? There may be one person we could take him too....but it's a long shot, my on/off again ex wife lives not too far from here by flight....I suppose its worth a shot to try and get him treated there..."he said as he got onto the griffin helping the two of them up before the griffin took off racing through the skies faster than they did when they were flying in though Aki still remained silent and unresponsive as he laid there on Layla

Tears formed in her eyes as she held onto him tightly. "You stay with me...." She said into his ear as his head pay against her shoulder. Guilt settled in her chest. This was her fault. They were after her for some reason. Aki was hurt protecting her. Her parents and what would have been her home and kingdoms destroyed....was that her fault too?

"Don't worry the kids not dying, he's just unconscious"Iroh said "Trust me, I know a dying man when I see one, I was a former assassin and hitman. That's where Kenji and I had our falling apart. I needed money and the jobs were paying well and he didn't like it."he said as they landed in a small town as they walked over to a rather large house "Man I haven't been home in a long time..."he said as he took out a key unlocking the door as a beautiful red haired woman stood with her arms crossed "What do you want Irohhhh my god what happened to this boy!? Did you do this Iroh!"she more insinuated than asked as she quickly rushed out the door helping Layla ease him off Lulu and inside the house onto a bed "What happened to him, he's clearly got many broken ribs and what looks like a punctured lung..."she said as she quickly had on her glasses and medical supplies as she had Aki's shirt off as her hand was glowing a dark green color as she ran it down his body "Internal bleeding, a bit of hemorrhaging...nothing outside the realm that I can fix but I'll need some time. Iroh who are these children?"

"These are my brother's adopted kids....so technically my niece and nephew."Iroh said "Remember when I sent you that letter saying shit was going down at the guild, clearly you didn't bother going to the meeting like you don't to any but I was escorting this kids on a monster slayer mission but some rouge punk decided to ambush us and really beat up the kid while I was handling the others."

"It was a member of a dark guild who have threatened and attempted the assassination of the guild masters and the magic council." Layla said as she stood at the foot of the bed looking over Aki. "They want to have magic to go unchecked and to readier the the vid they worship is what we have so far uncovered....after it was mention when they attacked us where I born....this...this is all my fault.." She said as her emotions got the better of her and she began to shake and sob to her hands

"You have no reason to blame yourself for someone else's actions"Iroh said "And you have no proof this is your fault. All we know is that we have a huge problem that is growing on our hands with that...what was his name again?"Iroh asked

"You never pay attention"the woman said as she began using her magic to work on Aki "I'm Julia by the way, Julia Yamamoto, Iroh's wife"

"oh how do you know?! You showed up after everything's happenend!" She shouted in tears. "You weren't there when they slaughtered my entire village! You weren't there when they attack Kenji and Calista!"she shouted as she started pounding her fist against his chest. "You don't about any of it! You don't know! You don't know..." She cried and stopped pounding his chest and just lean against him and cried. "They were after me when Kenji got hurt.....it's my fault..." Though her anger and sadness were quick to come and go, Iroh and Julia felt the tremors and items in the house moved a bit in their places.

Iroh didn't budge as she beat on his chest letting her cry a bit "Are you done?"he asked "Crying and pointing blame is going to stop these bad guys, and it isn't going to help Akihiko heal any faster. So pick yourself up off the ground, wipe your face, and get it back together. You also need to contact Kenji and tell him what happened here."he said letting out a sigh as he sat down "Just who the fuck are these assholes and what do they think they are doing"
