The World on the other Side

"Well at least we are in agreement on that last part" Kango said looking down at her "Your mother sounds like a wise woman. It's not often you get a High Elf willing to stray so far from their perfect little home. Let's hope you cotinue to take after your mother and not your father as you get older yeah?" Jango said with a light smile. He was surprised, he too had heard things about a terrible, snotty, powerful Princess but this girl seemed sweet and kind hearted and infatuated with his little brother

Speaking of little brother, as Alibaba began to smell food cooking he began stirring as his light colored eyes began to flitter open masked behind his long dark hair "Food..."he grumbled before looking up seeing Lilitha sitting next to him finally aware of her cheek poking "Uhhhhh what are you doing?" He questioned as he slowly pushed himself sitting again

"She is....though she'll probably be mad either way because I did slip out without permission again.....but at least this time im not coming home covered in something" she grinned happily still poking Ali's cheek as she would then hear him waking up as she turned, when he asked his question she tilted her head "poking you....just so I can tell papa that I touched you and nothing happened.....see" she poked him again and giggled.

"Huh? Did you think something was going to happen to you if you made contact with me?" Alibaba asked as he rubbed his head "I didn't think I was going to actually fall asleep this time. Did I miss anything?" He asked

"Nope just getting to know the Princess here why Hanako finishes the food."Jango said "Now if you'll excuse me" he said as there was a poof of smoke and Jango shifted into a black cat and made his way off to the bedroom Sheera had gone into

Lilithia would shrug "not sure, Uncle would seem to think so but Papa probably not so much. After all momma used to travel the whole world when she was younger and papa's touched her....he does it often too" she stated thinking about it but shook her head as she would then smell the food a bit more. "Mmm your human seems ot know how to make food....it smels good" she said ignoring Jangos retreat for now as she was a bit more preoccupied with soon moving ot the kitchen watching as Hanako cooked their meal. "I've never been this close to a human before...or a fairie.....or...what ever your brother is with the cat thing..."

"She's not my human...she's my Hanako and you should refer to her as such. She's like my guardian babysitter. Who does make really good food" Alibaba said as he regained enough mana to unconsciously float around in his usual sense "My brother is a Dark Elf just like my other siblings. Dark Elves have the closest affinity to nature hence his shapeshifting magic" Alibaba said "Have you lived in a palace your whole life or something? You've never met another human or fairy? There's tons of them everywhere!"

"Papa said I shouldn't have to leave a place that already provides everything.....its why I snuck out this time when I heard that Uncle was going to be coming to find the new disciple....plus momma said if I was really good and patient...I just had to wait till the guards passed at the right time" she stated with a large grin as she soon watched Ali start to float about and she grinned even larger as soon she was doing the same, moving up to him with a smile. "wow you can levitate too!!!"

"Of course I can! Teleportation is something my.mother wont show me but this is something every fairy child can do in their sleep...in fact most Fairies sleep floating in the air"Alibaba told her "I really wanna know why your dad and uncle need me though...we were kind of on an important mission...or well we just finished one and wanted to go home and rest"

She would shrug some "I'm not sure, they don't tell me most things cause then I blab and tell everyone....kinda like the time I told everyone in the court that dad had really bad gas cause of some mushrooms." she stated with a grin, "can you show me to levitate?.." she asked with a warm smile

"You are a silly person arent you?" Alibaba asked as he explained how he channels the wind beneath him and internalizes it to float. However while the two kids were playing around with their magic the convoy began to slow down and a tingling sensation of magic and mysticism filled the air around them to the point it was almost palpable. It wasnt long before Sheera and Jango emerged from their rest as they looked out the carriage window "The High Elf Kingdom of Tamagon. Looks like its time to meet Lord Faizon Alibaba" Sheera stated "Best behavior"

Hanako was stepping out of the kitchen with foodw hen they passed through into the kingdom, she glanced around shivering a bit and Lilitha glanced up "Oh we are home!" she said happily moving to the window and looked out with a smile, she would look back at Ali. "come on!! you gotta see it" she stated happily.

As she leaned out the window, she grinned happily as they looked out they would see a massive tree standing at the center several smaller villages and tree's scattered around it showing movement. A large covered path lead directly towards the larger tree with other paths connected to the main path, "see these's paths? they are like the network of roots to the tree showing we are all connected to the main home and to everyone." Lilitha stated happily of course as they neared a rather unhappy Aion stood waiting. "Ooooh Uncle Aion looks mad...." she giggled

"Well he was forcibly ejected out of a moving carriage...Im not to sure how chipper I'd be after that either" Jango said as he scratched the back of his head

"This place is amazing...I can sense the magic in the air...I can almost taste it, it's making my teeth tingle" Alibaba said with a laugh

"Actually I believe that's just anti-fairy magic" Sheera said just before they reached Aion

"Let me just say, I am not happy about what has transpired. Let us hope Lord Faizon shows you mercy because I were ruler your heads would all be on pikes lining the Sacred Tree as a sacrifice"he said "I will be escorting you to Lord Faizon's throneroom. Try not to do anything to embarrass yourselves"

Lilitha would roll her eyes at her uncles words and would soon grab Ali's hand, "come on, he's harmless.....papa doesn't let him do that stuff anymore" she stated as they would leave the carriage for now and Lilitha just grinned up ath er uncle running ahead with Ali almost being dragged behind her.

Hanako would sigh some watching them, "well...at least with her around...and her interest in Ali we don't have to worry about heads rolling..." she whispered towards Jango with a faint smile then looked at Sheera. "As for behaving....I think that went out the window when an Princess showed up in the carriage and you threw her uncle out.."

"Anymore? You mean he's done it before!?" Alibaba yelped but continued to be dragged along by her as they ran ahead of the rest of the group

Sheera shot her a sharp, warning look before tossing her hair back as she began following behind the two young ones

"You're playing with fiiire" Jango teased as they also left the carriage to continue on

Lilitha glanced at him "well ya....to make sure that everyone knew their place and that papa's rule was final and that no one is suppose to go against the royal crest" she stated rather alright with the whole idea of blood shed. "he stopped it after I turned 2...but that was couple hundred years ago" she said happily.

Hanako would smirk some looking at Jango as she nudged him, "your the one who plays with fire, maybe your rubbing off on me" she said warmly as they headed towards the palace while Aion more or less was trying to keep himself regal...but with his niece running around with the disciple like he was a rag doll it was starting to wear off.

"Ooooh so you are hundreds of years old just like I am!" Alibaba said in surprise "I never met someone my age before, everyone is so much older...except Hanako but she's a human...kind of..."he said "Im glad your dad stopped though. I dont like violence and blood shed" he said with a shudder "Makes me blackout"

"Oh I'd hope I've done more than that"Jango laughed though kept a side eye on Aion...and his sister as they entered into the palace. The guards made way for them to pass and sitting in the center of a large circular room was a broad shouldered man with flowing bright locks of yellow and piercing bright green emerald eyes "Ah, our honored travelers. Do excuse my abrput commissioning of your time. However it was very important I had an audience with the Disciple before you continue your current mission"he told them "I hope my brother made sure you traveled comfortably" he said shooting Aion a knowing glance as the man cowered slightly "Ahh and my princess, I also hope she was not too much trouble for you either, despite not listening to her father's orders....again"

"Yep....grandpa is way older though like....ancient and he mumbles a lot but he gives like the best presents even if they get taken cause they are to sharp, bitty....dangerous..." she said almost like it was no big deal to get a dangerous gift, but as they entered the room she noticed her father and would give him a charming smile as if she was completely innocent.

Hanako would bow her head slightly towards the man as he mentioned his daughter, "Princess Lilitha was a perfect lady" she chimed in wondering if she was even suppose to speak cause she was a human. Lilitha though smiled as she moved over to Hanako grabbing her hand "look papa!! its an actual human!! isn't she pretty!!...she's Alibaba's and she cooks really yummy food even though Uncle Aion said not to eat it it was supper good!"

Faizon's lips curved into a straight smile, hiding the look of his rebellious daughter touching humans and fairies "That's wonderful dear, now come back over here, and allow me to conduct my business with them"he stated "As Im sure you are curious why I have called you here. We High Elves have eyes and ears everywhere. And we know that you are currently in the process of contracting all the Djinn once again. I also know that your...Hanako, has not only magic power, but a djinn and is married into the Dark Elves now. With Prince Jango and Princess Sheera also each in possession of a djinn, that completely throws up the delicate balance of power the Elven Kingdoms have established over centuries"he explained

Lilitha would almost pout some but she would smile at the others before she would move over to her father side already knowing what sort of lecture she would be getting this time, but for now she would listen quietly. As Faizon spoke explaining as to just why they had even been 'asked' to come here she glanced over towards Jango he was right this was another Viezer issue but this time she couldn't exactly negotiate herself for marriage....as she was going to marry Jango or says the mark that bound them together.

"So you wish to figure out a way to even out the balance....thats fairly simple enough" she stated it wasn't like they where demanding they surrender a dijin nor where they telling them they would go to war. She glanced at Jango and Sheera, the two knew this worlds politics better than she did, as she would soon whisper faintly to Jango. "so..bottom line they...want power more or less like your family wanted and were willing to lock us up for centuries to get it....that about sum up what he's wanting just in nicer terms?"

"Well I dont know about nicer but that's the jist of it. This is Elven politics....there's always a catch" Jango whispered back to her as Faizon smiled again with that same straight laced look "Yes, simple indeed. In order to restore the balance of power, my advisors have come up with the terms of a negotiation." He started as Jango sighed "Here it comes" "The terms are quite simple actually. There are two more djinn left, the Earth and the Wind Djinns. One of those djinn must go to a member of the High Elf family, in the sense that two members and a third member of Viezer's clan will have djinn. So my daughter Lilitha will accompany you to acquire the fourth and fifth djinn. One of which will be given to her, I do not care which." He said as Alibaba went to object, the Lord spoke again "I understand you may have a concern. How can we be trusted to wield this power responsibly. Well rest assured we have thought of that too. As customary of our people, in order to maintain peace, and also reestablish a connection to the Royal Disciple household, my esteemed Princess Lilitha, will be given to the Disciple to marry."

Hanako stood there listening as she glanced from Jango back to Faizon the man just had this smug air about him and she almost wanted to reach over and slap the man. Anything to get that look off his face, they weren't even able to object to any of the demands made as she listened. Lilitha just stood in silence next to her father but the look on her face told them it all, she knew full well what her father had been planning she just didn't tell them..."I see now why she snuck out...she wanted to meet Ali before this..." Hanako whispered to Jango.

"Yep this is all starting to make sense now. Wanting to approve of her betrothed before her father could get him. Sneaky ass elves.." said the elf that transforms into a cat to disguise himself. Seems the irony wasnt lost on Jango after all as Sheera then began "And if we object to your terms?"

"You are not the Disciple" Faizon said "However should the Disciple reject, then consequences will follow. If the Disciple does not do his job to maintain the Balance then we will forcibly right the perceived wrong"

"And by forcibly, you mean war with the elves..." Alibaba added as Faizon nodded "That is correct, and if your Fairy King father or Disciple mother wish to intervene then the whole kingdom will be dragged into it if necessary. We are prepared to go the distance to fix the problem."

"Perceived is the operative word in that sentence"Jango mumbled to Hanako "Just because it's perceived doesnt mean its actually there. Politics"

"Coming from the elf who turns into a cat" Hanako stated as she stood there with a small chuckle as she nudged him, "your as sneaky as they come." though she remained silent for now after all this wasn't her place to make politics nor even negosiate wars and so on.

Though as things continued another pressense was felt and Lilitha could be seen slowly moving to the side, till a women who was almost the girls spitting image stepped in. "And just when did you think you where going to tell me about a possible war my dear?" the women's voice was chilled and Lilitha spoke "you made momma mad...again..." she would then move away running over to Ali and would whisper. "Momma doesn't like war...since she likes all the nations...shes the reason uncle can't behead people anymore."

"I was fine with marring our daughter off...as is the territory Faizon...but war....there are other matters to attend to than attempting such. After all wasn't war the reason why our nation is so issolated as it is?" this was Queen Morlia and one high elf who didn't act like many of the others and wasn't exatcly the most favored among the other nobles even if she was their queen.

"Ah, I was hoping you were going to stay preoccupied during this meeting my love, but no matter" Faizon said as his wife joined his side "To respect your wishes, this is the reason war was not the first option. But it must be known that the option is always readily on the table. Even the Disciple must respect the upfront nature in this approach." He said "And he has a choice to make as well"

Alibaba bit his lip, he also didnt like the idea of bloodshed and innocent lives being lost because of a decision he had to make, especially when the other option on the table is a peaceful one...though with a lot of blind trust in people he hardly knew. ".............I accept your offer. I will marry Lilitha....and she may have her selection of whichever djinn she chooses, HOWEVER..." Ali said holding up his hand "I want true peace between the elves. You will come to Viezer and work out a treaty. Because of your petty disagreements and rivalries amongst elven kind, my brother and Hanako were forced to marry and we were imprisoned. No more elven politics. If a High Elf Princess is to ascend the Kingdom Throne when I do, then we need a united Elven Kingdom behind us. Not the constant infighting and disagreements. That is the deal, take it or leave it" he said as Faizon actually cracked a smile "My, my. The little Disciple does have a fire within him after all. Alright, I accept the terms of your deal, Disciple Alibaba"

Morila would still raise a brow at her husband still not sure if the man ever understood he couldn't just shove about to get his way. Though she could see that her daughter did enjoy the little disciple company so she wasn't going to say anything, though as Alibaba spoke she would smirk. She would then gently bow her head towards him, "Thank you Disciple Alibaba, peace between the elves would be wonderful. As for Viezer I am sorry that such actions had to be taken, pushing you two together....though I do not think it was an unhappy thing."

Hanako would blush slightly as the women seemed to know and she would clear her throat some and Lilitha glanced at Ali and soon poked his cheek again. "Your stuck with me now..." she giggled with a small smile at him.

"Yeah but that means you are stuck with me too ya know."Ali countered back before Faizon continued "Well , now that the formal business is out of the way, tonight we shall celebrate the new arranged marriage of the princess and tomorrow you all will be ob your way back home" he stated clapping his hands as servants came into the room to get them cleaned and changed and prepared to party
